I'm in between sizes, which do I choose?

The general feedback from the majority of customers is that if you are usually in-between sizes, customers have preferred to opt for the smaller of the two sizes.

For example, if you are deciding between an S or M, most customers have preferred going for the S.

Most customers can fit into several sizes, given the high stretch of the materials we use. Most of our fabrics have a stretch factor of 200+%, in other words, a 10cm length of un-stretched fabric can be stretched to over 20cm.  We do acknowledge that we are all born with different shapes, bodies and fit preferences. Some of us prefer more compression (prefer smaller sizing) while some of us prefer a little more wiggle room.

It is good to note that between sizes, the measurement of the garment's waist and hip dimensions (un-stretched) increase/decrease by 4cm. For example, a medium legging has a 4cm longer waist and hip diameter compared to the S model. Remember that this 4cm can be stretched up to 8cm.

Sizing examples from customers

Example 1: A customer with the following measurements fits into both S and M in SH2.0, Asana, All Rounders, Asana Jogger:

Waist diameter: 76cm (measured slightly above the belly button) or 81cm measured around belly button line
Hip diameter: 101cm (measured around the widest part of the hip)
Height: 173cm

While she fits in both S and M, she prefers S in all the leggings for the extra compression but prefers M in the joggers for a more loose and relaxed fit.

Example 2: A customer with the following measurements usually fits into both M and L but prefers M in Sweat Harder 2.0:

Waist diameter: 86cm
Hip diameter: 102cm

Note: this is based on a real customer (we are working on getting more examples here!)

Why don't you have the actual measurements of the garments?

We previously had the actual garment measurements but customers found this confusing as the garments have so much stretch to them.

How long are the leggings in the leg?

All of our leggings (not including Asana Jogger) are designed to be a 7/8 length unless stated otherwise - we have full length models for our taller customers coming soon.

The 7/8 length is designed for people between the heights of 165-175cm. We acknowledge that how long our bottoms sit on your legs is extremely individual and depends on the length of your legs.

The Asana jogger is designed to be closed to full length.

I'm quite tall, will the leggings be long enough for me?

As mentioned above, the majority of our leggings (SH2.0, All Rounders, Asana)  are designed to be a 7/8 length unless stated otherwise for people between the heights of 165-175cm.

We have many customers with heights ranging from 175-180cm who have been happy with their Ninepine leggings - this however is individual as the leggings will most likely sit a bit above the ankles for taller customers. We do recognise this is extremely individual and is up to customers' personal preferences.

We are working on full-length models to cater for our taller customers.

I'm quite short, will the leggings be too long for me?

Good news to our shorter customers, since the majority of our bottoms are designed to be a 7/8 length unless stated otherwise, they are likely to fit like full-length leggings for you.

We have many customers with heights of between 158cm-164cm that have been happy with the length of their leggings, reporting to us that they fit like full-length leggings for them.
